Montero. The song most of us have heard of by now. All the way from the shoe to the music video lil nas x has slipped into our conversations lately at some point. How do you feel about situation? Well, I know my opinion and I honestly think its sort of disgusting. Between the nasty dances, human blood in the shoe, and many other reasons. I think lil nas x needs to take a "chill pill". Yes I said nasty dances if you haven't seen the montero music video lil nas x gives satan a rather disgusting dance that im not going to go much detail for school apporite purposes. I also don't understand how people can see this video as cool when that kind of behavior is happening.
I guess something that kind of goes through my head with this is how can man get cancelled for saying the N-word of his own property while being intoxicated, but something like lil nas x montero video is able to have 118M views and 4.3 M likes. I just don't understand it. stepping aside from the video he makes a shoe with literal human blood in the souls of them! In my opinion thats just nasty. I also understand that nike is sueing lil nas x for the shoe and has come out and said that they were not apart of the making and selling of the shoe.
This might have seemed like a very random forum post but honestly I felt i needed to be adressed one way or another. So, Inconclusion I just want to leave you thinking weather or not if this kind of stuff should be allowed on social media of honestly if it should just be allowed in general.
Do you think it should be tolerated?
Do you think this is ok?
What are your thoughts on lil nas x and his situation?

I don't think that behavior like this should be tolerated when many other things have happened way less worse and people have been cancelled and ruined their lives. This is a very weird thing and people shouldn't be okay with this. Many youth are going to see the video and things they shouldn't. I think that all of this si really weird and crazy.
I don't think that this should be tolerated at all. I agree that it is in no way to just freely use the n-word in any way or form and that the consequences that Morgan Wallen has recieved were fair and it is being taken care of. This is also just another example of something disgusting and wrong being put on the internet and making money off of it some how. I am sure that Lil Nas X has recieved a ton of hate and is also facing consequences as he should. I just don't understand how he honestly thought that this seemed okay to post??
I don't think the fear of children seeing his music video is a good excuse to not like it. If a parent is worried about what their child is consuming from the media, then they should MONITOR them. It is literally a parents' job to monitor their child, and the parent gets to decide what their child does and does not learn while growing up. Lil Nas X does not need to cater to anybody's children because of one silly song he made in the past.
I agree with you if parents don't agree with it then its their responsiblity to make sure the childern are monitored. I just don't agree this is just a "silly song in the past" this music video crosses a line between wrong and right trying to make stripping and lap dances good and socially acceptable is not ok. lil nas x causes moral issues to be questioned. that is simply wrong.
I was referring to old town road as the silly song in the past. A lot of parents are upset at him because he once made a song that appeared to be child-friendly (even though the lyrics really weren't) and now he's released the Montero (call me by your name) music video. If you don't want to watch the video or hear the song, just don't. No one is forcing anyone to.
I think the his videos are digusting, his messages range from inappropriate to satanic, and he really shouldn't be given an outlet. In my mind, it is ridiculous that he could be getting any support from anyone at this point. He only brings evil and disgusting things to the table, and his music isn't even catchy.
I agree I find it funny how you said that his music wasnt even catchy hahaha (its true though). I also agree when you said all he brings is evil to the table if someone cna watch that video and find one good thing you would watch with your parents I would genuinely be suprised. I'm not hating on the song itself he is a talented human being but taking a stripper pole to hell im not sure that was a appropriate way to go.
I think that the video is just downright disturbing. There are many songs on the internet that should not exist and 'Montero' is one of them. the song itself is something that I don't really have an opinion on, but its the music video that really makes it strange. There are so many YouTube videos that get wrongfully taken down due to being 'innapropriate' but a video with so much grafic content is left up and glorified.
I don't have a problem with Lil Nas X at all. He is simply just expressing himself in an artistic way. I don't get why people can go on and on about religion/God and it's totally okay, but he can't do this. It seems to me that religious people are now finding out what it feels like to have something shoved down their throat. If SNL did a skit where Tina Fey did that dance to Satan, people would laugh at it and think it's funny, but since he's gay, it's wrong. The whole point of the video is that Lil Nas X is embracing the fact that people claim gay people will go to hell. He did what everyone told him, so why are they upset now?
I really think that the song is dope, thats maybe because I dont understand the lyrics, but anyway the song is cool. The only maybe disturbing thing is the videoclip when he twerks on Satan, anyways I dont think is that bad.
