Montero. The song most of us have heard of by now. All the way from the shoe to the music video lil nas x has slipped into our conversations lately at some point. How do you feel about situation? Well, I know my opinion and I honestly think its sort of disgusting. Between the nasty dances, human blood in the shoe, and many other reasons. I think lil nas x needs to take a "chill pill". Yes I said nasty dances if you haven't seen the montero music video lil nas x gives satan a rather disgusting dance that im not going to go much detail for school apporite purposes. I also don't understand how people can see this video as cool when that kind of behavior is happening.
I guess something that kind of goes through my head with this is how can man get cancelled for saying the N-word of his own property while being intoxicated, but something like lil nas x montero video is able to have 118M views and 4.3 M likes. I just don't understand it. stepping aside from the video he makes a shoe with literal human blood in the souls of them! In my opinion thats just nasty. I also understand that nike is sueing lil nas x for the shoe and has come out and said that they were not apart of the making and selling of the shoe.
This might have seemed like a very random forum post but honestly I felt i needed to be adressed one way or another. So, Inconclusion I just want to leave you thinking weather or not if this kind of stuff should be allowed on social media of honestly if it should just be allowed in general.

In my opinion, the "Lil Nas X Montero video" and new "satan shoes" should not be tolerated. I believe the song was trash, and the video was very disturbing and weird. On the other hand, the satan shoes containing blood were just wrong and are not ok. Nike is currently suing MSCHF for making the satan shoes containing human blood, which I back one hundred percent.
The Lil Nas x video should not be tolerated and should not still be up the song is great in all but the video was definitely a little too disturbing. I don't think it's ok in the video he is literally giving the devel a lap dance and he's worshiping the devel that goes against my religion.
I feel like certain celeberties are getting away with far too much. What was being done in this video was just pure wrong. I am generally able to see both sides of an argument but in this case, I just can't see how this could possibly be defended. This video definetly crossed the line. It is offensive, and just plain disgusting. Once again, what is considered "okay" today is dissapointing to me.
I was pretty weirded out by the video, but if he wants to post something like that he can. If you don't like the video you don't have to ever watch it again if you don't want to. It's the same thing with the shoe, if you don't think it is right, just don't purchase them. Nike is already sewing him for the shoes so I don't see the big deal.
Of course, I think his music video portraying the Adam and Eve story with a little twist is amazing! It's a fun and exciting video that told a biblical tale that he shifted to help express his sexuality and beliefs. The Christian religion could be offended by this, yes, but we are living in a free country with freedom of religion and speech! The majority of the online isn't upset by this video, because first of all, not everyone is Christian, and not everyone has the abundance of free time to be upset by a music video that is doing virtually no harm, you guy don't like the devil, do you?
I agree with you. I don't understand how so many people are being offended by something that doesn't directly affect them or their lives. Everyone has freedom of speech in this country so I don't understand why people are so upset and offended by it.
I find it ironic that you sight Morgan Wallen being "canceled" (he wasn't, he is still very successful, he was just criticized for saying a racial slur) when just as many people are trying to "cancel" Lil Nas x. Personally, I don't care, I can understand being offended because some people find it disrespectful but it's his right to practice his art as long as he isn't causing any harm.
I don't think anyone will ever truly be canceled. Any press is good press. I believe that is why he made this controversy of a song and music video. I don't think this is the type of video that young children should be able to watch. So I think it could cause harm.
I think that it is disturbing how he did this to the video, he could of done something else than this idea. It should not be tollerated. I dont think this is okay personally, I know many people that dont have a problem with it. I think he should at least take down the video and apoligive for offending anyone that got offended by the video. He should just take it down and if he wanted to make a different video less terrible.
I think Lil nas X went a little too far with it making his own shoes and everything with "human blood" in them and doing innipropriate things in the music video. But at the same time I think we are judging him a little too much for his believes, but he shouldn't have gone that far.
