Scientists are developing a concept that will be very convenient to the people with bad eye sight. These 1.55 mm thick- lenses can magnify your vision almost three times. The lenses will hopefully improve the sight of those with AMD. AMD stands for Age-related Macular Degeneration where magnification is a proven aid. AMD is the third leading cause of blindness globally with few options for cure or treatment. They are trying to create a pair of glasses that will change from magnified lenses to regular lenses based on the movement of your eye.

Magnifying glasses, telescopes, radioactive magnifiers, neurological observation devices, periscopes, microscopes, lots of things. I would use these lenses for aid in my sight, obviously. Maybe even to observe or examine smaller mechanisms or organisms by buying multiple and building my own microscope! I believe scientists could soon branch off into lenses that enhance the human eyesight by 5-10 times! Maybe even destroy the probability of someone becoming "blind" 100-1!
If they can invent lenses with which people, who are blind or almost blind could see again, that would be awesome. I'm sure these lenses will be super expensive, especially at the beginning when they are at first available in stores.
I think this could be could if it works. Im sure there are complications that would happen to the eye. But people with really bad eye sight could get help! and maybe even be able to see!
