Construction worker looses control of saw blade

This happened in Ohio. A construction worker was working out in the middle of the street when a saw flys off his saw that he was working with. In the video it show the blade falling off the saw and the man chasing after it. It left a huge gash in an empty house next door. If it would have been a few feet over it would have hit a gas meter. Luckily nobody was hurt. The lady across the street got the whole incident on tape. Click here to witness it yourself.

He is extremely lucky that no one was in the way of the saw blade, someone could have been seriously hurt.

thats really good that no one got hurt but that guy should have been more careful and paid more attention to what he was doing. Hitting a gas meter would have been bad too.

that's pretty crazy. incidents like that always make you step back and think about stuff before you act. i have been a a situation like that before. one day i was working in the shop and one of the workers was hammering on a piece of metal and a piece flew off and wizzed by my head and i heard it slam against the other side of the shop. . it was pretty crazy

Thats a clumsy guy i guess. Put the thing on a leash so he wouldn't have to chase it.
