Computers or Books?

I want your opinion again. Do you guys like learning in class by taking notes on computers and not using books? Or do you like learning by taking notes in a note book and having a book and worksheets?

I prefer book and worksheets because for me a computer is kind of distracting.

i agree with the distracting part of computers, but they are better for our economy, and a lot easier on our backs! not having to carry all the books around would be a relief.

I agree with you that computers are distracting, put I do prefer them more than books and papers.

I like taking notes better on the computer rather than writing them but I'd rather have a book and worksheets. Computers can be distracting.

I like notebooks and books better because they can be availible to me all the time wherever I am. That's one problem though, it's a pain to carry them around.

Personally I would like to stay with the books because one class with computers is bad enough for me. Plus, staring at screens can effect yor eye sight so really we shouldn't do this.

i agree .. i like to use computers but its really distracting.. i usually learn more reading a book but not taking a lot of notes

I prefer notebooks and textbooks because there is so many this that can go wrong when you are using it. When you use pencil and paper everything isn't going to disappear at a click of a button. Also its a lot eaiser to study from a textbook than the internet because one website could say one thing then another website could say something thats completely diffrent.

I think that computers would be more efficient. Typing is much faster and this way you have everything you need right in front of you. A lot of paper is wasted when teachers have to make copies for everyone. I could also see how frustrating computers could get if they were slow or they stopped working.

I would have to say that I learn better by taking notes on the computer, because you don't have to worry about missing anything if the teacher is talking too fast because most high school kids can type pretty fast so they should be able to keep up with the teacher.
