Wow, that os an amazing story! I honestly don't know what I would do. I would definitely consider it because I wouldn't want to die, but I don't know if I could make myself do it. It would definitely be a difficult decision!
Thats just like the movie 127 hours where he had to cut off his own arm just to get free from a rock that wedged his arm between the rock and a wall. True Story.
Situations like that your survival instinct kicks in and apparently his was to cut his toes off. It sounds like that guy who cut his arm off who got pinned by a rock except on a smaller scale.
