Clean drinking water

2.1 billion people in all countries are don't have acceibility to clean drinking water because of pollution, poverty and poor management of resources. Water resources are distributed by agriculture and industry energy production. Agriculture is responsible for 70 percent of the reduction of water around the world. 75 percent of countries’ water is used for this purpose and distributed by contamination. Fortunately, there has been and increase in efforts to develop technology to fight off contamination and reduce the rate of water depletioin. How can you contribute to making sure everyone has clean drinking water? How much does this problem concern you?

  • I would contrinute by donating water and making sure I am not taking clean water for granted. This problem doesn't concern me directly, but it does make me think about how fortunate I am.

  • I think this is a big deal because everyone need clean drinking water to live. I think people can try helping by trying to find an easy way for farmers to not get as many chemicals in the water without them having to do a lot of extra work.

  • Personally, it is hard for me to do something to help make sure that everyone has clean drinking water because I make up a very small portion of the world. I can donate some water to places where it is harder to get, make sure to recycle and not pollute, etc. I am just not sure how much difference, me as one person, can make. Answering the second question honestly, it is hard for me to become overly concerned about this topic because I am not directly affected by it. After reading this, I have become more concerned because everyone needs water to survive!

  • There are many ways to contribute to clean drinking water, on a smaller scale starting with yourself, you can just conserve water. Large companies can reduce pollution, and people can start charities or donate to charities that support getting cleaner water. This problem concerns me because everyone needs water to live.

  • I wouldn't be able to contribute much myself, but if everyone could donate just a small amount, I feel like we could make a difference. Although this problem doesn't really affect me much, it is a huge problem that needs to be fixed because clean drinking water is something that everyone needs

  • Yes, some of the problem is that agriculture pollutes the water, but if there is no agriculture how will you get your food; also how would you get larger and more affordable goods. People can control this by putting in some sort of system to put in the right amounts of pesticides and fertilizers.

  • I could contribut by trying to not pollute and throw things away properly. I could also try to make other people aware of these issues. It doesn't concern me that that much. However, it could increase my concern if the problem continued to get worse.

  • Aiden,

You didn't reply to amy student question which is worth 20 points. Your summary is also quite brief and doesn't inlcude andy persoanl thoughts. Your topic is a good choice though.

  • I believe that we should do funds because this is a problem around the world. Some people don't have safe water to drink and it could harm them. So if we could get them clean drinking water it could help some of their conditions.

  •  I dont feel as though I can do very much helping by myself, other than donating to helping causes. This problem does concern me a bit because there are milllions of people who don't have clean drinking water, which is a luxury that many people have in most first world countrys.
