There is new evidence that suggest hanging claw games are fixed so they are too weak to pick up the prize 11 out of 12 grabs. Link to video. Are you surprised about this new information? I am not too surprised, I never really thought about them being rigged. I thought it was just though luck, but I guess not. What are your thoughts?

I was always horrible at these games! I don't think that i have ever won anything from them!
I think that they just want peoples money and dont want to give them something they payed for. I beleive that this is true.
I'm not surprised either it really doesn't surprise me that this is discovered they always put nice stuff in them but you can never get it cause it is to hard well that's probably why.
They are rigged you never get anything out of those. I got something one time but that's because it was hanging over the glass.
That's probably true and I've always thought that because the rarely actually grab anything and it doesn't even look like they grab the stuff just collapse around it and doesn't apply pressure.
I am not surprised at all! I always knew they were rigged! I have only won something once. I would really appreciate if they would un-fix them because i am not to happy with this.
This explains everything. Makes sense though they need to make a profit, it can't be based on skill, and the odds can't be too good. I'm just glad I didn't spend all my money on them when I was a kid.
Well gees! If i would of known this when i was little i would have saved about 50 dollars..
i have always thought those stupid things are rigged. Every so often you come across one that is easy, but either the claw doesn't clamp onto the thing tight enough or the stuffed animals are stuffed in there so tight the claw cant pull anything out.
It is terrible that people would do this, but then again I have never seen anyone get a prize from one. What a joke, they just wanted peoples money.
