Earlier this week several churches in the country of Sri Lanka were attacked on easter sunday in apparent terroist attacks. These attacks were believed to come as a retaliation to the New Zealand incident where a white supremist commited a mass shooting on a Muslim Mosque. A series of bombings were carried out during the day killing 290 and injuring more than 500 people. This is the largest act of violence for Sri Lanka in decades. Christians all over the world are being persecuted in areas where chirstianity is a minority. This is a growing problem that needs to be taken care of. People should not have to live in fear of going to a place of worship. This goes back all the way to when the crusades where going on. The war between christinaity and muslims continues to rage, and with it comes violence as well.

I feel like we here more about the christians getting attacked mor here because that s a majority in the United States because that is what the press puts out there. I think that in the bigger cities they could start putting more security in the areas where there are churches.
I do not know who attacks who more, but I believe that the press probably puts out more stories of christians getting attacked than muslims getting attacked. Churches could try to demote violence in their community.

I think that churches need to start haveing security in the church and outside and check people for weapons going into the church and others who are around and on the probity
I don't know what group is attacked more but I know it isn't right people can believe what they want there doesn't need to be attacks that go to certain religions because of what they believe in. Churches should leave their doors like and maybe get more high tech systems.
I agree that no one should be persecuted for being in a certain religion but unfortunately that is the way that it is in this world and it seems like most of the stories we hear in the news are radical muslim terrorist groups attacking people of other religions.
I disagree that christians attack muslims more than muslims attacking christians. I understand that their are wrong doings on both sides and that the majority of muslims do not believe in or promote violence in their teachings but it seems that radical muslims are usually the ones that resort to violence.
I think that attacks on Christians from Muslims are more common. I think that maybe there should be safety checks before entering the churches, maybe sort of like the systems at airports. In the areas where the bombing of churches is common, I think that it might be a good idea to have underground churches. I agree with you that people should not have to be afraid to gather in a place of worship.
I agree with the fact that radical muslims resort to violence more often than christians do and it seems to be very common especially in foreign countries in the middle east. I agree that churches need to take more precautions to prevent these attacks.
I don't know what acutally occurs more. But maybe more attacks on christians from Muslims? All I know is this needs to stop. We continue to see more shootings due to someones beliefs in religon. Everyone has the right to believe what they believe in. The biggest problem are these shootings. No matter who's doing more, this must end. Lock doors, security to come in. It's sad where at this point, but even my church is starting to have more strict things. We must change and makes sure members of the church are safe and not be shot down becuase of ones religon.
