The new school year in China began on Monday. A man was holding a grudge because his daughter was not allowed into the primary school because of a homework assignment she did not complete during the summer, and he went to the school and stabbed eight children and a teacher. Three of the children died and the rest were hospitalized. Police don't know how the man got onto the campus of the school.
Do you think that the school should have had a plan to help prevent this issue?

I think all school need to get a medal detector and all have drills and plans if something like this would happen. Events like this have started to become more and more "popular" just this school year. I think the man might have been mentally ill if he does this just over a small thing. There is no reason why a primary student should have to get expelled over an assignment in the first place.
I don't think that the school knew that he was going to stab those eight kids and the teacher so there was no way to really prevent this issue to happen. He could be mentally unhealthy and this mad him really angry that caused him to stab those kids and the teacher.
I think they should just get higher security. The man could have done it just to prove that he could or maybe he was just really mad or something. It is kind of like asking why do people go into schools and shoot anyone they see or why do people commit terrorist attacks. You really can't know for sure.
That's horrible for someone to do for no reason. Yes I think that they should come up with another plan like help if someone needs to talk to someone.
I don't think they could really come up with a better plan then what they already had. He might have some back story issue that nobody knows about that would lead him to the stabbing.

Thats a terrible thing to do. Why would you stab children or any adult just because your child's homework wasn't turned in. That is a little wrong for the school to do that, but that doesn't mean this man should go and stab people and let alone kill them. He definitely has a mental issue.
No he didn't he was just upset and it's a a little kid school why would a homework assignment keep your from coming into the school? I doubt that piece of paper woudl affect what college they get into or hat job they get. The school should of just let go of it.
I would be mad too if I had to do homework over the summer, but stabbing children does not make it any better at all. Sometimes it all happens too fast and the school can't carry out their plan. He is obviously not a suitable father.
