Child falls into cheetah exhibit

A two year old boy was rushed to the hospital after he fell into a cheetah exhibit. The boy suffered leg injuries after he fell into the exhibit and is now in stable condition. Their were enough witnesses to say that the child was dangled over the rail. Kuhar said that the parents were soon in there right after the child fell in. Ans that the cheetahs made no attempts to get at the child or the parents. The parents may be getting fined and charges put against them.

What do you think the parents were doing while the child was dangling?

Do you think it was smart for them to leave their child?

  • Good job but all your replies, and you replied a lot, were done on the same day.

  • I think the parents just weren't paying attention. I think they should have at least been watching and saw he was dangling and could have possibly prevented the fall.

  • Probably talking to each other not paying attention to the kid. No not if the exhibit is open so people and stuff can fall in.

    • Parents need to pay more attention and make smarter decisions.

  • I'm not sure what the parents were up to but mistakes happen. The parents shouldn't get too much trouble for it.

    • Mistakes happen but they shouldn't have let the kid dangle over the edge they should think more clearly.

  • They may have been just playing with the child, but obviously should not be allowed around that child again.

    • Parents need to start taking better care of their kids its that kind of stupidity that gets kids killed.

  • When the child was dangling they were probably just talking and didn't notice him, it wasn't a very good idea to leave their child because there is so many people at the zoo that the child could easily of been lost.

    • The parents were dangling their son adn also parent need to pay more attention.
