CEO sits in car while being shot at

The Texas Armoring Corporation produces armored cars and bullet proof cars. They released a video of the CEO of the company, sitting in one of their cars that they made bullet proof and being shot at with an AK-47. The person shooting took 12 shots total. They had cameras recording on the outside and on the inside. The video is pretty cool. No one was harmed and the car was for sure bullet proof.

If you were the CEO, would you have faith in your products enough to sit in the car yourself and get shot at? Why or Why not?

Would you want to shoot at the car with a person inside it? Why or why not?

  • Interesting story and well done!

  • I would have to be like %110 sure that the person shooting at me would not shoot right AT me.

    • They shot right at the CEO in the video and he didn't get hurt. The product worked so why wouldn't you trust it?

  • If I was the CEO, I would sit in the car because that is the perfect way to advertise the product and the best form of safety guarantee. A lot of people complain about 'What if it is faulty?' but any product can be faulty at any time. If I was the shooter in this test, I would only do so if the person inside was willing and knew the risks, and only after the product had been thoroughly tested beforehand.

    • Good points. I totally agree with you that with the CEO sitting in the car, it is very good advertising because it shows that the CEO trusts his life in this product so if he trusts it, you should too. I also agree with you from the shooters view. I would want the person inside to know what they are doing and know what they are getting into.

  • If I were the CEO I wouldn't sit in the car because what if it's faulty and I wouldn't shoot at the car because what if it's faulty and you just killed a guy. I personally think it was not a good call.

    • I see your point. Things can fail and you never know for sure what is going to happen. You might as well better be safe than sorry.

  • I would not but my faith in the product even though I am the one in charge of the whole company. Although, if I was the on the other side of the deal I would gladly take the offer being it's not me.

    • I see your point here. It would be a little scary putting your life in the hands of a car. It showed though that the CEO trusts his product enough to sit in it while being shot at, so you should trust it too.

  • Now a days technology has advanced tremendously. but in the case of "bulletproof" glass or vest they are not really bullet proof. Several shots with a high caliber gun. can pierce the so called "bulletproof" products. For example... The armored cars that transport valuable items from place to place, a bullet made with steel alloy can pierce a armored vehicle with one shot.

So no i would not sit in a car that someone is going to shoot at me.
