Case Closed in Ferguson Shootings

A 20 year old man from St. Louis, Missouri has been arrested for being in connection in the shootings of two officers in Ferguson, Missouri. His name was Jeffery Williams and prosecutors said that he was in connection with the shootings last Sunday in protests in Ferguson. He has been charged with First Degree Assault, and three accounts of armed criminal activity Sunday. He is also on a $300,000 bond.

Why do you think that this man helped with these shootings?

What was the purpose of this?

Do you think he should have gotten charged with more?

    This man had wasted his life by doing this act and that is very sad

    I think he may have been offered money to do something like this. Or he may have had connections of wanting to get revenge with the two officers? I think he should have been charged more. No one should just shoot innocent people/police officers.

      I agree. No one should be let off easy shooting somebody.

    I think that he didn't very happy about the verdict that the jury made. I think that it was a stupid thing. Those police officers had nothing to do with the Ferguson police department. They were only there to help with the crowd.

      I agree. They were just officers trying to control the riots and protesting going on and they got shot.

    This man might have helped with the shootings because of his personal views. This would also be the purpose. I definitely think he should have been charged way more with something this awful.

      I agree. Like i said before the judge should not be lenient on this man and charge him for the crime he did.

    I think that he has some issue's like a mental issue, or was bullied and mistreated when he was younger. I don't know what the purpose would have been, some people are just really messes up. Yes, I believe he should have been charged with more than that, but who knows people do what they want.
