Over the weekend a cartoonsst faced major backlash after drawing a cartoon depictng Kavavnugh's daugter "praying and asking god to forgive her angry lying alcoholic father for sexually assaulting Dr. Ford". This cartoon was published on Friday, but it became wider known on Sunday when it was posted to Twitter by anonymous user. It had the Illinois Times on it and they defended themselves by saying that he is not an employe but a contributer to the paper.
Do you think people have a right to outraged over this?
I think people have the right to be mad but its fredom of speech.

I would be very mad if someone was mocking my child.

I can totally see how people could be mad at this because it is not right to bring a child into this bad situation when she did not do anything. I understand that the person who made the picture was trying to prove the bad acts Kavanugh has done but it was not right to bring his daughter in when she is just a normal person. If this was my child I would be very angery at the person who made it. But I would also tell my kid that they had did nothing wrong.
I think it is very wrong to do that to somebody that is innocent. I'm not saying that her dad is guilty or not, but that is just wrong. I would be outraged because she had nothing to do with it.
I think that people have the right to be angry with this because there is no reason for Kavanaugh's daughter to be targeted and or attacked for the actions of her father. His bad decisions have nothing to do with her. I would be very angry if my child was being targeted for someone elses stupid mistace or decision.
Yes I think that people should be outraged over this because you can hate Kavanaugh all you want for what he did or did not do, but what did his daughter do to be attacked by some loser drawing comics. Anyway, this is the guy making fun of a kid, so in the end, he's the loser.
Absolutly, people can outrage over this. This is dispicible. Nobody has the right to hate on a little girl whos intentions were very good. If this was my child, I would be extreamly mad and would tell my daughter to shut out the people who are trying to destory her father and the ones he loves. Maybe it is those kinds of people, the ones who make jokes of little kids prayers, should be the ones we actually pray for.
I think too that they have the right to be mad but i think it takes more time until they kow all the facts. I would be very mad if my or my child's life would be discussed in public. And if they discuss lies it's even worse.
yes i think they do because he got himself into this mess and his family is out there i would be very mad becasuse its my personel life and i would figure out a way to make them stop because the more the do that stuff the more they will get humilly ated and pepole will start saying the cartoon and telling every one so it will be passed allong very quickly

Yes, I feel like people have right to be outraged by this because they are bringing a 10 year old into this mess but it's also a freedom of speech. If this were to be my child I would be very mad because they are bringing someone innocent into all of this and not only is she innocent she's also 10 years old. I find it kind of sickening that they would bring a 10 year old into politics and especially something like this. Like she has nothing to do with it so everyone could just leave her out of because she probably has no idea what is going on.
