In kuntucky there has been a widespread case of the potentially dangerous bactirea called selamonilla. The cantaloupe that spread the very contagatious bacteria was imported from some were in west India to the u.s. The outbreakes are extreamely decreasing the Kuntucky cantoloupe farmers profit this year, and so very many cantuloupes have been recalled from stoeres all over the United States of America.

It's hard to imagine how these farmers will be able to support themselves with their profits decreasing by that much, I do hope they can
I really hope that these farmers have insurance on there crop, that could be a devastating loss.
Its terrible that farmers are loosing money from this outbreak! However, it is good that they are recalling the cantaloupe so it doesnt get spread any further.
That's too bad, I really hope they can support everyday things while the tough time passes. With this economy it must be hard!
