Stanford Medicine has successfullly been able to eliminate cancerous tumors in mice. They do this by injecting two small amounts of immune stimulating agents into the solid tumor. One of the agents has been been approved for the use of humans. The other is still pending. A clinical trial for patients with lymphoma. They activated the T cells and what this does is elimantes cancerous tumors all throughout the body. The treatment method was tested on mice and was successful on 87 out of the 90 mice. Dr. Levy believes that by injecting the two agents into a person with a cancerous tumor, then he will be able to treat the tumor before surgical removal, and prevent the reccurrence of a cancerous tumor after a surgical removal.

Q1 - Would you receive the treatment if you had cancer even though you are unaware of the effects and whether or not the agent has been approved by the use of humans?
My answer - I believe that if it were me I would definitely take advantage of this opportunity. I would especially do it I my outlook wasn't looking too good and I wasn't likely going to beat the cancer.
Q2 - Do you think this method will be useful for cancer treatments down the road?
My answer - I think that if this method continues to develop then it will definitely be a widely used method because it has already been proven effective.

Good job on your summary but be sure to comment a lot more as you only had two pages of comments.
I would take the advantage of the treatment. All you want when you have cancer is to get out of your system. I don't know if it'll work down the road I feel like seemingly they say there is a cure to us humans and they test it but nothing ends up happening.
I would definitely try to take advantage of the medicine if I had the opportunity, especially if chemo wasn't working for me and I was in the later stages of cancer. This method will be better than chemo in my opinion because it mostly focuses better on the cancerous tumors and it doesn't damage other cells as much as chemo does.
1. Yes, if it give me the chance of living and be healthy I'm willing to take the risk.
2.Yes, if the FDA approve of treatyment and lt us use it to help us get better.
So um even if this vaccine could cure whatever cancer I have theoretically. There is no way that I would expect treatment without knowing any potential side effects and whether or not it was approved for use in humans. It’s like things like Eliquis (which is blood clots), or any immunosuppressants you see commercials for. Where what you have won't necessary cause death, but the drug their giving you to HELP might actually cause death. But if they can clear it for use in humans and say definitely what side effects could be, and develop it more than it could be used for treatment down the road.
I should have made that first question a little less broad, as what I was kind of getting at was that how would you feel about receiving the treatment if your life was on the line. Say you only had a few weeks to live and you had the opportunity to take this, I feel as if though that would change your answer a little bit. Although I do see the side effects being an issue, but fortunately enough, none have been reported thus far through lab testing.
I would take that chance becuase i wouldn't want to die. I think if the method continues to help people then i think it will be successful because its goood for people that have cancer.
It really depends, i would probably ask questions and do my research first
I think with how everything continues to evolve Idefinitely think this will be the same thing.
Yes, I would because if there was a way that i could be saved to still live with my family and friends. I would definitely take that chance. Yes, I think it will be very useful. I mean just think about it How many people could we save with those two little injections. If people could be saved with this. They would all be greatful to still be here with family and friends. Think about how people would feel if their friend or family member is able to stay alive instead of getting the news "I'm Sorry for your lose" Just think about how much of an impact it will have on people's lives.
I would take the chance because I don't want to die that way. Definately because if my cancer is beat or not I will still be helping the study of medicine and the human body. Other people can look back and say she tried why can't I?
