The Simpsons are one of America's favorite TV families, but now they might be saying thier final goodbye. According to Fox Studios, the rates of the show and the viewer numbers are dropping almost to the state of cancelation, but with such a powerful fan base behind it, can it really be canceled? After 23 long years, can Homer and Marge and Bart and Lisa and Maggie finally be rested? After all, if they really kept this in real time, both Bart and Lisa would have gone through puberty allready and possibly be even close to graduating. But then again, I am at most a casual fan of the series, only knowing most of the characters names and how many seasons there are. The only way the show can be saved is by a mass fan raid on Fox Studios or a cut of production costs, making episodes slower with less camera movement, and probably shorter. But maybe 23 is a lucky number? Thoughts and opinions are welcomed.
