"Call of the wild man" staged?

There is arguments going on that the animal planet show "Call of the Wild Man" is staged and accused of drugging the animals and animal abuse. Animal Planet is saying that they have never drugged or abused any animals on any shows. They say specifically that "Call of the Wild Man" is strictly about saving animals and putting them in good habitat places. A man from Mother Jones magazine is arguing saying that have been investigating this for months, interviewed 8 people, and just now thinking they are correct.

I think this is a total lie. I watch "Call of the Wild Man" and it's just about a guy saving animals, but trying not to use all those traps to avoid hurting the animals.

What do you guys think is it staged or not? If so, why do you think it is?

  • Great job!!

  • I bet the people from the magazine just want to make a big deal out of nothing. He doesn't harm the animals, he just tries to save them.

  • I, along with many others, am an avid viewer of the show. There is no way that these animals were drugged, atleast none of them act like it. This is a show about putting animals in better places.

    • They say that they drugged up and animal just for him to catch it.

  • I don't think its staged... it seems like it's a good show with good intentions... I doubt they are abusing animals behind the scenes

    • He's a good man and wouldn't hurt anything.

  • It could be possible. People in the show business will do anything to get more money. But if the show is really about helping animals, then they probably aren't drugging the animals.

    • Yeah, he doesn't seem like a guy would be like that either.

  • I highly doubt animal planet would drug animals for a show.

    • I agree completely!
