Marijuana supporters are celebrating a big political step forward.California may become the very first state to legalize recreational potuse.The measure will be on the ballot in November and, if passed, couldbring in some much-needed tax money for the cash-strapped state.

And this is what Dr. Greenspoon said in 2006 about Cannabis Sativa medicinal Plant:

These are the the direct quotes from the prohibitionist Harry Anslinger(the guy who helped marijuana become illegal) pushing the "Marijuana Tax Act of 1937:
"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others.”

I think this is kind of interesting, because these are the reasons marijuana is illegal in the first place.
