Caleb Moore, only 25 died Thursday after a last week’s accident. Moore did a backflip he has practiced and landed hundreds of times. His front skis got caught on the snow. He was thrown off his sled and his 450 pound snowmobile landed on top of him. He suffered a concussion and his heart was bleeding. Caleb was sent to St. Mary’s Hospital and had surgery of Friday. Thursday a family spokes-person pronounced him dead.
Caleb has been riding snowmobiles for only 4 years. He use to compete with ATVs, but enjoyed snowmobiling. His younger brother competes with him also, and he suffered an injury in the same event on Thursday. This was the first death to occur during the X Games. The event was a freestyle. He was the first to go. Competitors have 2-75 second turns to do the coolest and most tricks possible. He had 30 seconds left in his run. Many are mourning the loss of such a young inspiration.

This is very sad. Dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles and anything along those lines are very dangerous and it only takes one wrong thing and it could cost your life.
I have watched the video of him, and it is very sad. I feel very bad for the family. This accident just goes to show that doing stunts like this is dangerous, and that they don't always go how they should.
May he rest in peace! This is such a sad story to hear. This is such a terrible accident! These people practice everyday and the risk is always there no matter how many times you practice....He was too young to die!
