July 31st thieves broke into Bernardino County Sexual Assault Services and stole multiple computers and modems. The next morning the executive director, Candy Stallings found a shopping cart with the stolen computers. The officer that came to the seen was about to dust for finger prints when he found a note that read "We had no idea what we were taking. Here's your stuff back. God Bless". What do you think?

Good story and good job replying! Your question your asked could have been stronger however.
I have a feeling that the thieves were intoxicated or on some sort of drugs because in the apology letter they stated that they had no idea what they were doing, which is what leads me to think that they were on something. While it's awful that they would steal the items, I guess its good that they had enough of a conscience to return it all.
It's not okay that they stole the computers in the first place but it is nice that they decided to return them. I also think that they were on something in order for them to not know what they were doing.
They have a lot of spelling errors. But i guess they got the right idea.
This is very surprising to me! I really don't think they should of been put into jail. No way in my opinion! They should have had a punishment of some type not be put in prison. I realized that the people did take these computers and they shouldn't of, but the main thing is they brought it all back.
I think that at the time, it seemed like this was a good idea for them. I know sometimes I think something sounds like it would all work out but later realize that it won't. I think they found out that they wouldn't be able to sell or really use these computers because they were stolen. I think it was a good idea for them to bring them back.
I'm glad they gave the computers back. I still think if they get caught they should be charged, but just not as long as they would have if they didn't give them back.
I agree... they shouldn't go without punishment but it should be less severe as they realized what they did was wrong
I don't think that they should be put in prison but they should have some sort of punishment like parole or community service. I think it's good that they gave them back and want them to continue to help people.
I think that's a very good idea and they should go through with that!
