Broken Collarbone

Nick Foles starting QB for the Philadelphia Eagles was knocked out of the game Sunday  with a non throwing left arm injury. X-rays showed a  broken collarbone. Although their is no timetable for his return Green Bay Packers star QB Aaron Rodgers missed 7 weeks last season with the same injury. Mark Sanchez will be taking over for Foles . Sanchez has a career win loss record of 37-30 and has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns in his career. So the eagles may be in some trouble in the future. Sanchez hadn't made an apperance in a football game since 2012 but coming in after Foles went down he threw 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

With Foles being out indefinitely and the Eagles being (6-2) do you think they will have a chance at making the playoffs with backup Mark Sanchez?  why or why not?

Will the Eagles win the NFC East? why or why not

  • Well we can't say for sure but it is very unlikely for them to win now since a good QB was taken away from them.

    • yes it will be tough for them to win with out Foles

  • no because he is bad and the eagles have the cowboys and The giants that will beat them unless they play really good.

    • yes I think they will get beat out by the Cowboys

  • Probably not because Mark Sanchez isn't very good. He played for the jets and had a couple terrible years.

    • yeah he is kinda of garbage

  • I think its unlikely that they will do good. If they lose a good player and a worse one replaces him then they probably won't perform well. Probably won't win the NFC East.

    • yes man Dallas will be tough but you never know

  • i dont know, if sanchez plays like he did sunday they might have a chance. It will be a battle for the eagles to win the NFC north. I think any team could pull it off.

    • yes it all depends on good ol Sanchez you know he is pretty crappy so i don't know man.
