According to the World Wildlife Fund, there are no more Northern White Rhinos in the wild anymore. As of a week ago, there was only 4 known left in the world. All of them were kept in captivity in hopes of reproduction. But in recent news a rhino, known as Nola who lived in the San Diego Zoo, had died. Dropping the species' population by 25%. The rhino had been getting sick and was getting worse so they had decided to euthanize it.
I personally think that it is just a matter of time before the species becomes extinct because they are beyond the line of help.
What do you think about the species' decline?
Do you think we will be able to grow back the numbers?

Good job! You could have commented more however.
I think that it is sad because once the three remaining rhinos are gone, noone will ever see them again.
I think it's really sad that the rhino died. There aren't many left and I think we should try to keep them alive as long as possible. On the other side I don't think that there is any way to get the rhinos back... Which is sad because they are really cute and beautiful animals.
I think this is a tragic story, but sadly it doesn't surprise me. For many years, other species just like the White Rhinos have been going extinct because of loss of habitat, poaching, etc. I don't think we will be able to save this particular species from extinction due to the insanely small population, but I think that people need to realize that the extinction of this species is just the beginning. If the world doesn't start to put in more effort to protect these animals habitats and increase efforts to reduce poaching, than it will negatively effect thousands of other species in the future.
I think it's sad the rhinos are dying off. They are a really cool animal. It really is just a matter of time before they are gone. I don't think there's anyway we could bring them back.
What do you think about cloning them?
I think that it is very sad that species are extremely capable to become extinct like this. Especially when that species is as cool as the white rhinos. I think we would have to work really really hard to get their numbers back up. We'd have to do more research and use more technology to figure out how to bring their numbers back up. I think it would be very hard to do so. In my opinion, extinction for this species is pretty much inevitable.
It is our fault for killing them for there parts. Depends if scientist can figure out a way to do some.
I would hope that this species of sharks can reproduce. I'd be nice to see them on shark week again!
What do you think about the rhinos though?
