The man had fallen on a wet floor more than a week ago, hitting his head hard. The boy gave his father fluids and nutritional items.

That's great that they boy loved his dad enough to do that for him. Why wouldn't he just have called 911 or someone else for help. If he knew enough about what to feed him, then he should have known to call 911.
That's a really smart 10 year old, but he still wasn't smart enough to dial 911.
I agree, you would think that the first thing you would want to do if someone gets hurt is call 911, not take care of them yourself. But I guess as long as the man is okay it all worked out.
These are the miracles that people like to talk or gossip about and I think that this kid knew what to do if he could keep this father alive
Props to the boy for keeping his dad alive, but it would make more sense that he would call 911 than to just sit at home alone for a week and try to keep the dad alive on his own. But, hey, at least the boy had enough sense not to just let his dad lie there and whither away.
I'm the boy nursed his father but why wouldn't the boy just get a hold of another adult? He is ten and should be able to at least dial 911.
