Oscar Pistorius told this girlfriend's parents that he prays for them everyday since he murdered her last Valentine's day."I can't imagine the pain and the sorrouw and the emptiness that I have cause you and your family" Oscar said while holding back his tears. This has been the first time he has spoken in public about it after the death which he claims was an accident. Oscar testified as not gulity and says that he has nightmares and wakes up smelling blood. He says the reason he shot her was because he thought she was an intruder since it was dark and shot her. Oscar is now taking anit-depression pills along with sleep aids.
I think that it's not really an accident because he could have asked who was in his house. He knew he shot her so he should be pleading guilty even though he feels bad about it he should do his time.
What would you do if your daughter's boyfriend murder her and then told you that he was sorry? How would you feel if you were the mother of Oscar? What would you do if you accidentally murdered your loved one?

I would want to rip his head off he should have had more common sense and asked who was there but he didn't.
He should defiantly be spending his time in jail because of what happened. Everyone has that little moment of fear and shock so he probably just didn't snap out of it.
I can see this happening and I would understand why the family is made at this person. He killed their daughter on accident. This is something that he will never live a day without thinking about it. I feel sorry for the guy
Nothing can ruin a family better than losing a loved one and that's hard for people to get over with. He's already having problems sleeping and smelling blood so I kind of wonder if he will have to be on anti depressants his whole life because of one mistake.
I don't think I would forgive him. I would feel terrible if I lost a loved one from an "accident" like that. If I was Oscar I wouldn't know what to do, did he really accidentally shoot her?
I guess we will never know if he shot her on accident because he probably won't confess and there weren't any witnesses. You kind of wonder what really happened that night if she walked in and he thought she was an intruder or they got in a fight and got way out of control.
I don't think that an apology would fix anything in this situation. He claims he thought she was an intruder and then shot and killed her. If she was my daughter I would feel like his apology isn't enough to take back what happened.
There is never enough apologies to make someone feel better after some shot and killed their daughter. I think an apology is necessary, but most people just ignore it like they aren't just going to forgive you like that you need to serve your time.
Ya it was not an accident the guy is a liar... what you notice your girfriends not in the bed and then expect a robber to be in the bathroom, what is he stealing toilet paper?
