California Highway patrol said the teen crossed the westbound lanes, jumped the central divider, and had almost made it over to the other side of the road when he was struck. the driver remained at the scene and reported the crash. ongoing investigation.
why do you think the boy would cross the freeway?
what do you think will happen to the driver?

To get to the other side. Ha ha, just kidding. For real though; he was probably trying to get somewhere! Or he could have been running away and not have cared what would happen to him! They are just possibilities, I'm not sure! I believe the driver will be charged with some type of indecency and punished in the ways of either isolation, driver's license reduction, or a sturdy fine.
he probably felt like doing it or something else i don't know
the driver might get accused by the parents but it wasn't his fault because like what brett said you cant stop on a dime and also becasue that could lead into multiple wrecks and making it worse.
It might have been the fastest way to get to the other side or he was trying to get killed. It wasn't really the drivers fault because you are driving really fast and can't always stop on a dime.
I'm guessing he wanted to get to the other side of the freeway. I think that it was not the drivers fault that he hit the boy. It was probably dark out at 10, and a person would be very hard to see.
The boy probably wasn't thinking straight. The driver will hopefully not get as long in prison as originally intended.
