Boy Bench For Scoring To Many Touchbdowns!

Dermias Jimerson

Dermias Jimerson 11 year old boy was benched during his football game for playing his best! From the reporters everytime he would get the ball we would score a touchdown. But instead of praising the boys talent they invoked the Madre Hill Rule. So the other kids on his team could get the chance to score. Sometimes Jerimas would score up to 54 touchdowns a game! Do you guys think they  should be punishing the boy for his talents or praising him. Go to the link to watch the video!

    No way!!! This kid sounds good and they're just making his talents diminish!! He needs support and praise...but not too much! :)

    I think that they should of course praise him so he'd continue to play. If i was doing good but got benched all the time i would be so mad and not even want to play anymore. But i see why the coach took him out. Being a soccer coach, i tend to take out some of the kids that tend to be scoring a lot of points just to give some of the other kids a chance but i don't keep them out the whole rest of the game.

    The rule is something like if he's scored over 30 points and his team is up by 14 or 21 or something like that, he had to be taken out, it's not like his team was losing games.

    If the kid is good who cares if he's getting all the touchdowns? I'm sure all the other kids don't have a problem with winning!

    Wow! why would they punish him? thats amazing! i mean they could take him out so other people could play but they shouldnt punish him!

    I saw this on TV, it's not that bad, because it doesn't sound like he minds it that much. Plus it gives the other kids a chance, and it's only inforced in that league, so next year when he plays for his school, he can score as many times as possible.
