Since Biden has come into the Presidency, illegal immigration has skyrocketed. As of right now, there are 15,000 unaccompanied children in cells and cages in US custody. When Trump was president, there were far fewer illegal immigrants and Trump was still heavily critisized, but now that Biden is president, the crisis has spun out of control yet is getting no media coverage. This is a serious issue, and when illegal immigrants were asked why there were more of them coming over, they said it was because they thought the Biden would just let them in and give them free stuff. Because Biden has been so weak on illegal immigration, people are trying to take advantage of him, and they are doing things that are very bad for our country. In my opinion, in order to reconsile this situation, we need our president to stop being too afraid to offend anyone and, like Trump, show people that illegal immigration is bad, not only for our country, but for the people who are trying to sneak past the border. Children are being held in overcrowded facilities which are at 500% capacity , showering twice a week, and until we stop pretending that illegal immigration is okay, this will only get worse.

I feel like Biden is a president that everyone can take advantage of. I feel like Biden is just if he does not think about it, it will go away. I feel like every single democrat is trying to get their agenda with Biden. All Biden needs to do is take action on the immigration and say yes or no. Even though saying stuff like that might afend someone, the country needs somebody to step up and help stabilise the country.
I agree. Biden is afraid to offend anyone because he rose to power by playing the yes man and he will lose support when he stops pleasing those who are in power. He is more concerned with how he looks than how his decisions are affecting the country, which is very bad for America.
I think that we need more border restrictions, too many people are coming over illegally. I think that Biden needs to do a better job controlling the borders.
I agree. I think that biden needs to be tougher on immigration, but I think that at his age, he is not entirely capable of completing this task. We definitely need to show other nations that the United States still has a backbone and rules. Right now he is just kowtowing to his political base instead of doing what is best for our country.

We have massive issues with our immigration system. What we let happen is disgusting. We need a more efficient way to let more normal people in, however Biden messed up big time. In one debate he was literally fighting about the cages with Trump. He brought them up and how horrible they were, yet he was in the White House when they were contructed. This crisis got to this point because everyone knows when a Democratic President is in, security lessens around the border. We've had some great Democratic Presidents in history, but this is one of the downfalls of the modern day Democratic President. Plus, one of his firts orders was to halt the border wall construction, which sends a clear message. Biden is reluctant because he, like everyone else, has no idea what to do about the border, plus he lacks ingenuity and initiative.
I agree, a large reason why I didn't like the idea of Biden as president is because he seems to be past the point where he is qualified to handle serious issue like this. His primary concern is definitely making sure his political party looks good. He needs to either go full open door and hope for the best or make it clear he'll be tougher on immigration.
I believe that this is a big problem in our world today. Biden needs to stop illegal immigration because all it does is cause more and more problems. We need border restrictions and we need to keep this problem under control. I think the media needs to hold people accountable.
BIden shouldn't have lied when he was running for president. He made it seem like he was going to open the borders and let all of the Mexicans in who wanted to come, and the way that he talked down on Trump for having all of the illegal immigrants in "cages" would make it seem like he would let them all out as soon as he became President. All of these people are coming because he made it seem like they could. I think Biden is reluctant to acknowledge the problem because his ignorance to the problem on the border led to this and he doesn't want to deal with being wrong.
That's true. It seems like Biden critisized Trump a lot for his toughness on illegal immigration, and by doing so he has gaslighted millions of immigrants by making them think that he would institute an open door policy, but I don't think that is the only reason behind so many immigrants all coming in at the same time.
