Border Crises

According to a Fox News article, there has been a 233% increase in fetal seizures at the south border. A report from the U.S. customs and border protection shows that in March of 2021 639 pounds of fentanyl were seized. This is 394 more pounds seized this year than March of last year at the south border. So far this year 2,098 pounds have been seized. Last year around this time only 649 pounds had been recovered. House minority leader Kevin McCarthy from California stated, “the collateral damage from Biden's border crisis extends beyond the inhumane and crounded collisions at migrant facilities.” He then goes on to say, ‘the gross mismanagement of the crisis has also put Americans safety in danger… it poses a health risk to our own citizens.” This trend has slowly decreased since March. President Biden is trying to deal with the amount of immigrants crossing the border. 

 

I think this is outrageous. The problem has increased since the borders have been opened. The administration should look at minimizing the amount of people going back and forth over the southern border.

i think this border crisis is not very good at all because they are not citizens of the united states and they could possibibly be doing harm to the country and do illegal things . i dont think that the presidnet is handling it right because i dont think that he is doing anything at all which is not good of him

I agree with this because the people coming into the USA are taking jobs illegally and people shouldn't have to worry about it unless the come in the right way and not put up a fight agianst the USA.  We have so many people trying to block but yet it's not enough.

I think the border crisis is a terrible thing that could end up really hurting our country. This crisis has been going on for decades, and has been handled by many different presidents, but I don't think Biden is handling the situation very well.

I agree I am not sure President Biden is doing the a very good job of fixing it but no president has really been able to do much about it but it is getting worse and something needs to be done.  I also think it is a very terrible thing and needs to be stopped.

The border crisis is something that really needs to get handled. I think this is all because we have a weak president that is just trying to get votes for the next election. He should have the countries best intrest at heart not his own. By letting all these people into our country illegally it is just showing other countries that they can do this, that is not what we want. Im fine with them coming here legally but when they aren't following are laws they need to be sent back.

I think that the border crisis is a very sad situation. People are getting separated from their families and not seeing them for a long time. I don't think that Biden is handling this well at all. He was invited illegal immigrants during his campaign speeches and now he is paying for it.

I also think that it is a sad situation because people are getting separated from thier families. However, I don't think that we should be letting all these immigrants into our country illegally. While not all of them, some bring crime into the country like drugs.

I think that it is most definitely not a good thing that is happening at the border. I personally don't think Biden is doing a very good job with the things going on at the border. I think that Trump was handling these types of things substantially better.

Personally, I think that the border crisis is in a current state of disarray, but this problem has always existed. Even through past presidencies, there has been the issue of illegal immigration, but I think we are slowly working toward a solution. It is important to consider both extremes: closing the border completely and causing major back-ups and having no restrictions on immigration at all which may potentially lead to a major influx of people. It is vital to find a solution in the middle.

I agree with you, it has been an issue for many decades. However, I think that Trump was definitely controlling the things at the border better than Biden. Before Biden had been elected president Trump was doing a very good job, but since Biden taking over it has not been going in a very favorable direction.
