Books Banned?!?!

There are some books that have been banned in different places...some of these books i have never even heard of but other like harry potter or the twilight series kind of shock me since they have been read by so many thousands and millions of people.

    wow they try to get people to read more but then they banned all the good books. I loved Harry Potter and Twilight.

    That's crazy. I probably wouldn't banned the books because people have their own opinons and likes. I say if you want to read something that isn't going to harm you then why not?

    Okay, so banning books because of the "message" some readers MIGHT get from them??? Why ban them? Shouldn't the parents be the ones keeping their children from reading "obscene" books? Let people read what they want, yeesh. I absolutely love books, I read a lot, so seeing that they banned books from certain places just annoys me a little. If I want to read something, I'll read it. No questions asked. (:

    twilight should be banned just for being stupid. harry potter doesn't seem interesting in the least. and yeah... i think i might have to deliberately go find and read these books. and then laugh.

    The twilight series might but annoying but I don't see why it would be banned? also, they need a rating system like on movies so that they don't have to ban books all the time.

    I am okay with twilight and harry potter being banned i guess. i dont read either one and people are obsessed. I mean yeah yoou can like a book and love to ready it but i mean there is a stopping point.

    they are only banned because some people dont want their children reading them so they bann them from libraries and stuff.. and some books about religion have benn to because not all people beleive in that stuff..

    Some of those books are pretty suprising.. I mean books are one way we learn about other worlds, cultures, and fantacies. Banning them would make us practally live in a little controlled box, and be the first step twards communism! Let people read whatever books they want. They picked it, they should know what they're getting into

    why ban a book? that's like saying you cant read this newspaper cuz you're too young. what dictates what you can and cant read?
