Boko Haram Kidnaps 30

Boko Haram is a group in Nigeria that has done something like this in the the past. Its the same group that kidnapped the 219 girls earlier this year. Over the weekend Boko Haram struck again and charged into a defenseless village. They were armed and went in and took 30 boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18.

I think that this is awful and that something should be done to stop this group.

What do you think that the Nigeria government should do? Do you think the US should get involved?

    Nigeria gets to get their stuff together. They need to protect the villages more from groups like this. I think the U.S should get involved if this gets worse.

    Nigeria should send in extra security to the nearby villages and then send a search to look for the group. I think it should only involve the US when they get involved with us first, because I wouldn't think the US can get very much out of it anyways.

    I think the Nigeria government should find the kidnapped people. The US should not get involved.

    Find them and eliminate them. I think they might as well its kids that are involved and something needs to be done to stop them.

    No, the us should not get involved, Not our problem, not our people. The government needs to care a little more or maybe keep a better eye out for people being kidnapped, 200 people is a lot. Like they should really be watching better, I feel like that wouldn't happen in America.

    I again agree that the US should stay out of it for as long as possible. However I think that it is a good point that if they start to take over surrounding areas or if they take over the entire country of Nigeria that then we should step in and take care of it.

    I agree that the government of Nigeria needs to step in more than what they are and try to stop Boko Haram.

    This is a problem that needs to be solved by Nigeria. It dosent involve is so we should stay out of it. We have plenty of problems.

    I think that they should try to take back their government and put back safety into the lives of the Nigerians. However, I don't think that the U.S. should get involved until Boko Haram either takes over Nigeria or until they start taking over surrounding countries.
