Body Left in Hearse for 9 Days!

Police are now investigation a funeral home that they hired.  The body of a 37 year old woman in North Carolina was found in her apartment about two weeks ago, the police, being unable to locate any next of kin, hired a funeral home to prepare the body for burial.  Nine days later they were called to investigate an awful smell.  At the scene of the smell they found the hearse with the decomposing body of the woman still inside.

how do you not know you have a wwomen in hearse in your funeral home. That family has got to be mad about that and the funeral probably isnt going to get as much business anymore.

I think its so disgusting that A: they would leave it behind the funeral parlor and B: what kind of funeral parlor person feels he would get in trouble for burying an unclaimed body that is obviously decomposing. It was pure stupidity on the funeral parlor persons fault.
