Black birds falling from the sky?! How strange!

In the southern US, a large number of red-winged black birds fall from the sky!

What is happening up there?! Last night i had a bird trying to get through our glass door for about five minutes, then finally flew away! Too many birds anyways!

I hope that it's just for a short time period otherwise we may have an extinction of birds on our hands.

I saw this on the news too. My brother and I were wondering if birds could freeze if the flew too high? Because they fly in groups and I'm sure if that happened they'd all fall together. Otherwise I have no idea.. that's too many birds dying from no apparent cause.

Ha they said they died from trauma.. well duh they fell from the sky and hit the ground.. what made them fall tho?

personally, i think alfred hitchcock predicted this when he filmed The Birds. its kinda creepy to think about. youre just walking along minding your own business then BAM!! a bird falls out of the sky and lands on you. yeah...thats what i call a good day.
