Billionaire Ty Warner (CEO and soul founder of TY Inc. (Designed Beanie babies and etc.)) was lost in Santa Barbra, California. He stopped to ask a women for directions. Jennifer Vasilakos only being courteous polite to the man didn't know what was coming next, the woman had kidneys that had failed last year and was recently trying to save up money for an expensive cell treatment. After she gave him directions he gave her 50$ right then and said he would send more. A few days later she got a check in the mail for 20,000$! Shows to be generous and courteous. I hope her treatment goes well!

  • That is kind of him to do a good thing. he probably saved her life to because that money will hopefully go into her medical bills.

  • I bet when this lady got the check for $20,000 she was speechless. Sometimes a Thank you, goes a long way.

  • That was very generous. It was nice that he could give it to a woman that needed it badly.

  • Wow! I want to be this lady! This just goes to show that there are still very wonderful people in the world. I hope that this women has an excellent recovery!

  • It goes to show good things really do happen to good deserving people! It also shows that being nice to a person goes a long way. You may not get a big cash reward, but in the end it's the right thing to do.

  • I remember when Beanie Babies were quite popular! My mom sold them in her store! Soon enough, they will be collectors items. Anyway, the article. Getting 20,050 dollars for giving someone directions is the best paying job! ;) I'm glad that there are some in the world that will help others out. If I had money like that to spend, I would for sure help charities etc. I heard a statistic once that if you were a millionaire and gave away 90% of your money, you would still have enough to live!
