big fish

In recent news a 19 year old named Dylan Miller went diving and found a 80 pound octopus. He has a fishing liens and did not break any laws when he was asked why he did what he did it was it was for a school drawing and the meat.  Since then he has received threats about what he did.

I think that what he did was fine and up to him. What are your views?

  • I think he should not be getting any threats. He didn't do anything wrong if he did it for the meat and he had a license.

  • Yeah i also think that if no laws were broken then why should he get in trouble?

  • that's pretty sweet that he caught that big of an octopus he should be proud of himself for catching such a big fish.

  • If he didn't break any laws then I think that people should leave him be. Yah it would have been nice if he didn't kill it but if he didn't break the law or use it for any unethical purposes then I think its totally fine.

  • I think that this guy is getting to much attention octopuses are not that uncommon and i am sure that there are many more of these around so i think that he should be left alone.

  • I don't think he deserves threats at all! He was kind of doing a good thing by giving people food and stuff! I hope that they understand that and work something out! It was also for a school drawing soo..

  • That's interesting. I do not think that s=he should be getting threats about it. I mean what did he really do wrong?

  • Thats awesome that he found that big of an octopus in the water. He shouldn't be threated for doing nothing wrong.

  • He shouldn't be getting threats for killing it he had a license it was completely legal.

  • People threaten each other over very silly things. It was in his legal fishing lines, he can do whatever he wants with it.
