Biden's view about China's one child policy. He thinks it repugnant. He doesn't think that abortion is the answer, but neither do I! But many mothers and fathers put their child in a place where a lot of people are. Then an orphanage takes them. I speak from experience. So I think that Biden stuck his foot in his mouth. Another fact is that if you in the city, you can only have one child. BUT if you live in the country, you can have 2. He doesn't get it! What do you think?

I can see both sides of this issue. For one, everyone should have the fundamental right to do what they want(assuming it is legal). Choosing to have the number of children that you want is one of those rights. With that said however, China has a major population problem. Without this law, it is estimated that China would have at least another 400 million people. The issue is the way that the Chinese gov't has gone about enforcing this--forced abortions and sterilizations.
If we're trying to make amends with China, why would he say something like that? They know that they have population issues, so he didn't really need to open his mouth and embarrass the US.
Biden has been known to say things pretty bluntly from time to time which gets him in trouble.
