A cupcake shop owner refused to serve VP Joe Biden. After his comment, "If you've got a business, you didn't build that", the owner wasn't impressed. So then the Secret Service came in and bought a whole bunch of cupcakes and cookies to thank him for standing up to Biden! Then the same shop ran out of food by 1:15pm after a rush of business!
Well, this isn't the first time our "charming" vice stuck his foot in his mouth! Last year, he was talking about China and their one child policy, then the next day tried to back peddle. I guess it is hard sometimes to stand up to people, especially those with higher rank. But this "common" man, no offense intended, stood up to the VP! Sometimes people let things get to their head, and forget what goes on. A lot of people have or have had a business. Some thrive, others don't. But it's how majority of America lives! What are your thoughts?

I think of that as a little odd. I mean who would not serve our "charming" VP for some cupcakes. I wonder why he didn't serve him any.
Well this is quite interesting... im glad the shop owner stuck up for his self and his shop. Biden shouldnt have made that comment but i bet he was very happy with the way his business went with the rest of the day!
I don't see any problems with this. I think if someone ticks you off, or pushes the wrong botton, you should have complete control over what you sell&to who. Especially becuase it was someone famous. I have respect for them.
I think that is awesome that he stood up to not selling him any cupcakes. Other people might think that this is wrong though cause why wouldnyou turn down selling the VP cupcakes?
I think that that is pretty funny. I wonder how VP Joe Biden feels, especially after the shop owner got a ton a business from the secret service. Maybe he should just keep his mouth shut.
I think it's great that an average person stood up to someone so high up in the government. Our country needs more people like this guy.

Biden is one of the worst political speakers I've heard. This wasn't even bad compared to some of his other blunders. The funny thing is the secret service buying cupcakes to thank the baker.
I could see where that could make him alittle upset. But i dont see why the business would turn away profit. but i am glad that they got soo much business after all that happened. im sure it helped them out alot.
I'm happy for him for not giving him cupcakes because of what he had said about the businesses good for him.
