Best Jobs in the World

Tourism Australia has launched a search to find six lucky applicants to fill what it says are the best jobs in the world. The six month positions each offer the chance to be paid good money to live in some of the most beautiful parts of Australia. A couple of years ago Ben Southall won what was billed as the best job in the world, caretaker of a tropical island on the Great Barrier Reef. Jobs on offer include Chief Funster (New South Wales), Outback Adventurer (Northern Territory), Park Ranger (Queensland), Wildlife Caretaker (South Australia), Lifestyle Photographer (Melbourne), and Taste Master (Western Australia). It is meant to promote tourism opportunities in Australia. It is to grab the attention of those in the age group of 18-30 years old and mainly natives of the UK and Ireland.

I wouldn't mind having one of those jobs, but they find us Americans arrogant I guess. Doesn't mean you can't check them out here or here

thats cool i wouldnt mind doing jobs like that. I agree it could be fun but working with people who dont like you doesn't work so i dont know if this would be a good idea for us or not.

That's a really narrow spectrum for "best job in the world." I guarantee there would be better jobs if you gave others a chance.

These all sound pretty cool! I think it'd be fun to have a job like one of these for a while. It would be cool to be outside all the time and getting paid for it instead of being in an office all day!

That would be pretty cool..but i dont think that it would be worth it in the end. i wouldnt want to move over there to work for 6 months.

I think "the best job in the world" is just based on personal opinion. Those sound okay, but I personally wouldn't want to do any of those.

I think it would be fun to have any of these jobs. It looks like they work with enjoyable people. I wouldn't complain about any of these jobs, unless it started to rain. Lucky him.
