Bernie Sanders Appearing at Fox News

Bernie Sanders will be appearing at Fox News to debate politics. It is considered a controversial decision by many left-leaning advocates, news aggregates, and people. He says that he is doing it to help keep a fair and even debate. It is intersesting to see that he's appearing on there because Fox News leans right and Sanders is a known advocate of Democracy and opposes most Republican ideas. It could possibly be related to money and publicity because the article ties in his total funds raised for campaign at $18 million.

Would you appear on a controversial news station? If so, why?

I would, both for political reasons, keeping an open mind, and to help create an event for people to remember my name.

How would you react if the presidential candidate you were voting for appeared on an opposing station and why?

I would feel odd at first because the candidate was using the airwaves of a station I hated, but would feel more confident that the candidate was getting out there.

  • Overall your summary is brief and you only replied two times.

  • I think I would because it would make me seem open to new topics, it would make me well known, and it would make me seem like I am not afraid of tough decisions, I don't think I would feel weird at all because it shows that he/she can do whatever they want and not care what others think.

  • I wouldn't because i would probably get hate for no reason for being on said news station. But i also would if i wanted to get a point made about a specific topic. I honestly wouldn't really care because theres nothing i could do about it anyways.

  • I would not because I don't like seeing myself on camera or talking in front of people and I wouldn't wanna be famous I wanna live my life without stress and political and publicity. Well I would feel wierd about it at first but if I liked the canidate I would come around to it I guess.

  • 1. only if i believed that i could win the debate but considering how fox news is its not likely since its less of a debate and more of a shouting match

    2. it would depend on how well it goes if it goes well itll be good

  • I think it makes Bernie Sanders look like a very strong candiate. He is willing to go to Fox News which leans right and is mainly Republican. They asked him some tough questions and I think he handled everything very well.  I don't find it weird, it's a town hall so voters know what he's for and people may ending up voting for him versus Donald Trump.

  • If I had the chance, I would, only too get my point of the view. I would feel weird because the condidate I was up against is using an airway station that I did not like. Althought, I would feel better that I got my point out.

    • It is good to get out your message to many people of different audiences through means like opposing stations and news networks, but also you have to remeber that you have to keep your popularity/publicity to have a chance in the elections.

  • I would appear on a controversial news station. I like to state my opinions on things and keep an open mind with other peoples thoughts. If a presidental candidate was opposing my side I would be interested in why they disagreed.

    • I agree with you Emma, I would also go on a controversial news station. I feel like Bernie Sanders did the right thing as he went to a more leaning right news station. I feel like more voters can see what person he is and what he stands up for. It's good to see him go on Fox News.
