In Lebanon the capital of Beirut there was an explosion due to fire and a chemical mixing together. This chemical is caled ammonium nitrate which was stored at there port from a civil war. Sombody was there trying to set a building on fire and lone and behold set the wrong one on fire. when the fire got to the ammonium nitrate it exploded and had the results of three nukes hitting the same spot. there were 190 deaths there are 3 people still missing and there is 15 billion USD in damage.

yeah it is insane how fast the media died down about this considering they taked about george floyed for two months. and most people dont know where lebonon is that is the main reason why I chose this topic becuase not alot of people new this happend
This is literally so crazy. The fact that this happened is insane to begin with but what was that person thinking throwing a moltov cocktail into a building to begin with. Also one nuke is plenty to destroy a city. Imagine three hitting the same spot! its a mericule that only 190 people died.
he was probobly thinking he was going to burn highly taxed good and go to jail but in stead he put the city into mass destruction. yes three nuke is alot and destroyed the whole city then some but most people have lost there hearing due to the sound wave that the explosion made
I couldn't imagine having to go threw that and be there at that time when such a horrible event happend. It's awful that all of those people died and awful that someone wanted to burn down the building in the first place, and all of the money in damage will be extremly hard to recover from.
That explosion was devestating and extremely sudden. I cannot imagine what it was like seeing in person let alone being inside the explosion. The 15 billion USD will probably take the country years to pay off. I hope the person who is responsible is in custody and I wonder what charges they will face.
This is a very bad occurence, I don't know what that country is going to do. I do not think that the country Lebanon would have a lot of money to repair this. I think that other countries should help out Lebanon during this time. When I first saw the video I couldn't believe it was real it just looked too large of an explosion to be real.
When I first heard about this, I could not belive that it did this much damage and killed 190 people. It is also a devistation to the company that owned everything in the warehouses and that everthing they have made is all gone. I hope that they can get back on their feet again after this devistation.
It is very sad to hear about this and I have seen a video of it and it is very sad to watch. I am sure after this Lebanon and the country of Beriut will be sure to have better policies and stricter rules to prevent any more of this from happening. Just like how many things devolop and change overtime after disasters happen, I'm sure this will be the same.
The damage done in that explosion was terrible. The videos of the explosion show just how bad it was. I think that due to this explosion, there will be much more strict monitoring on areas with these dangerous and highly flammable chemicals. I'm sure that the government of Lebanon will be sure to enforce stricter policies, similar to how American airports were changed after the attacks on 9/11.
