James Williams, also known as Fly Williams, grew up play street ball with his friends in a Brooklyn neighborhood known as Brownsville. He dominated street ball in New York, going up against future NBA players like World B. Free and Al Skinner. He averaged 50 points a game. Fly's career soon faded after his behavior issues. On May 3rd, he was arrested at his apartment in Jamaica, Queens. The report stated that he had 32 glassines of heroin. He was arrested on 6 felony charges the worst charge being criminal sale of a controlled substance. On October 24th, Williams, now 64, appeared in Kings County Supreme Court.
If fly was your hero and you found out about the charges, how would you feel?
What would you do if you were one of fly's friends and found out that he was addicted to heroin?
I would feel disappointed in him because he not only let me down, but he most likely let a whole bunch of people down to. I would also be mad because he had a good future going for him and he threw it all away for drugs. If I was a friend, I would try to talk to him about what he's doing and try to get him some help so that he can get back on track.

Good summary but you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 20 points. -10 late
If I found out about it and haven't known it before, I would probably be very disappointed and I guess that he wouldn't be my hero anymore. I would try to talk to him, and try to convince him to get help and maybe even to go to a rehab center. And if it doesn't work or if he doesn't realize what he is doing then I probably wouldn't want to keep in touch with him anymore.
1. I wouldn't feel bad for him being my hero. I wouldn't have had any clue that this man was doing drugs. Although, I would also be very disappointed because I would have thought this man is someone I can look up to and try to be like, but now he is an example of someone who not to look after.
2. I would be very upset. I really would not feel bad for Fly because it is his own fault that he got himself into this mess. Many people will say it is not his fault because you get addicted to it very easily, but it was his choice to try it in the first place.
1. I would feel sad and bad for him, and also for me because I would have followed Fly.
2. If I was a friend of Fly I felt disappointed and would try to talk to him and ask why he had not trusted on me, then I would try to help him with professional help and look for a remedy
I would still be their for Fly if he was my friend. What separates a true friend from a fake one is whether or not they are there for you even when things get out of hand. His friends should have his back on this one because if I were in his shoes, I would want mine to help me out too. Now I wouldn't let go of the fact that he was selling illegal heroin, but friends should be there to help him choose the right path.
