On September 13, 2019 Beto O’Rourke said during a Democratic presidential debate, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” this sparked both sides of Americas gun divide. Beto wants to ban and confiscate all 10 million assault-style weapons. I believe this would be unconstitutional because the 2nd amendment states, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Shall not be infringed means the government can’t constitutionally limit the right to keep and bear arms. Trump said, “Democrats want to confiscate guns from law-abiding Americans, so they’re totally defenseless when somebody walks into their house with a gun. It’s like, `Whatever you want. Whatever you want. I’m defenseless. Whatever you want.’ How crazy is this?” I agree with this, banning guns only hurts the law-abiding citizens because non law-abiding citizens or criminals don’t abide by the law anyway, so it doesn’t affect them.

Good story choice and well done! I highly recommend to go in on the last day and make a few comments next time.
I don't believe this is unconstitutional because it is stated that americans have the right to bear arms, but it doesn't specifically say we must be able to bear all arms. I think having guns is a fine law, it allows for self defense and sports, but I believe they need to have stricter rules on them and better background checks.
my thoughts on guns they should not be put in the hands of crimanals they should be put in the hands of the law and all the people thay follow the law inforcement
my stand on guns is that there should be better background checks.
Great topic chouce and well done overall! Be sure to capitalize key words in your title.
I don't think the government should be able to take away all guns, but I think assualt style weapons are unecessary and shouldn't be avaible for people to go out and buy. I think that more gun control and making it harder to obtain guns is a good thing because it's just that much harder for a criminal to get a possible murder weapon. Also, I think that even though people say the non law abiding citizens will just turn to other weapons to kill someone with, not being able to use guns to kill lots of people in just a few seconds can't be compared with more widely available possible weapons that can't just kill people with one pull of the trigger and one bullet.
Another thing with asking if banning some or all guns is unconstitutional or not is how people interpret the second amendment. Some people say it's about having a regulated militia for what's necessary to maintain the security of a free state while others lean more heavily on the part where it says the right to keep and bear arms. However, I'm not trying to say that that part isn't an important right we have, but in my opinion, people shouldn't have the right to keep and bear military grade weapons just for self defense purposes against possible shooters, which is a point that some who are against gun control make.
No, I don't think it is because like you said of the second amendment, but also some people have different opinions and how they feel about guns. I think that we should have guns to protect ourselves in a bad situation, but not used to kill but to defend.
It is not constitutional because it is a direct breaking of the second ammendment ,the right to keep and bere arms. I think they are a nessesity to both self defense and to defend others that are important to you
I believe this is unconstitutional because the constitution says, that we have the right to bear arms so they can't take our rights away from us. I'd rather there be law that limits the amount of firearms one person can own. We also need to increase the restrictions on backgroung checks.
