If you've traveled by airfare recently and lost your suitcase, it's probably because of a 63-year-old baggage handler, Keh. He works at Singapore's Changi Airport and has been charged with 286 counts of swapping luggage tags. Keh apparently does this solely for the thrill of it. Apparently, Keh started this last year on November 18th. He switched bag tags everyday for three months. Keh was a baggage handler for Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Silkair, and several other airlines. Thankfully, Keh's actions won't go unpunished. He went to court and has told the court he will plead guilty. If so, he will be looking at a year in prison and fine for each count of mischief.

1) Why do you think Keh swapped luggage for so long? Do you think it was really just for the thrill of it? Explain your answer.
I think maybe there was some motive behind it. Maybe he was just angry at people and wanted to take it out on strangers. He could have possibly done this action just for the thrill of it.
2) If you found out your luggage was lost, how would you feel? Would you be angry if you found out that it was because of Keh?
I would feel upset and sad that I didn't have my luggage right away. Especially if I needed something in my suitcase right away. Yes, I would be angry if I found out it was because of Keh. I would probably file some type of charge against him.

1. The job "baggage handler" doesn't sound like a very fun or exciting job, so I think Keh really did just do it for the thrill. Long, boring days at work probably got to him and this one time joke turned into a way to keep himself entertained during his job.
2. I would probably freak out if I found out my baggage was lost. Thinking about all of the stuff that I would have lost would be frightening. I would be extremely angry if I found out that the baggage handler lost my luggage because he changed the name tags, but also slightly relieved because I would have possibly found my luggage.
Lots of people who commit a crime do things just because of the thrill, that's why I think this could have also been Keh's thoughts as he swapped luggage. Of course, I don't know what was in his mind but that reason seems possible.
If I would find out that my luggage was lost I would probably be very mad at the airline but in the end I wouldn't be able to do anything about that so I would have to accept it. When I would get to know that the luggage swapping was because of Keh, I would be angry.
I think that maybe he was angry because he wanted to move to a different country but wasn't able to. I would be angry for sure. Especially if there was valuable things in there like a phone, tablet, computer, or maybe just and item of clothing that you like or bought.
I don't see how it would be a thrill, because he is literally ruining lives of other people for a short time. I would be very anxious and angry at Keh if he did that. I would have my medications in there and I need those by the night! I would be anxious, because I hardly miss my medications, and I can tell when I forgot or not.
I think that Keh was mostly doing this for the thrill of it, or maybe he really just liked to mess with people and ruin their vacations. He might be the type of person who just enjoys watching people struggle when things don't go their way or Keh might just really like changing bag tags. I would be pretty angry if I discovered the reason my luggage was missing was because some random dude decided to switch my bag tag with someone else's. I mean how random is that?! It's a good thing they finally caught him doing it before this kept up for a long time.
I think to say Keh did it just for the thrill of it is a pretty crappy excuse and I think he could have done it for a different reason. I would be pretty made if some guy lost my luggage just for the thrill of it.
I don't think he did this just for the thrill of it. I think that he had to have some reason as to why he wanted to do this. I'm sure some where a long the way he got a thrill out of it but I don't think this just started because he wanted to get a good thrill. I would be very upset because now you would have to wait to find your luggage and who knows how long that would take. I would be even more upset if it were to have been Keh to switch my luggage just because he wanted a "thrill".
I also think there was something more to his reasoning than just just for the "thrill." It's not usual for someone to terrorize people for no good reason.
I believe that Keh could have been doing it for the thrill of it, but he might be an angry person and this was his way of making himself feel better. If I found out my luggage was lost, I would be very upset. I wouldn't be surprised if I started crying. I would be angry if I found out my luggage was lost because someone, especially an employee, deliberately switched the luggage tags.
