A 16 year-old old girl was caught carrying a concealed weapon after pictures came up on social media, according to Lake Geneva weekly report.
On November third, which is election day, around 11:30 a.m. the school resource officer at Badger High School recieved a complaint that a student had shared photos on social media stating that she had been carrying a knife in the school.
The Lake Geneva girl was cited for carrying a concealed weapon. No additional information could be immediatly obtained.

I would not really care if someone brought a knife to s chool. They are less deadly than a gun and won't be nearly as much of a threat. I think she carried it because she was probably threatend online or something like that. She probably posted her veiws all over social media.
I agree with you Noah in a way because she definetely could've been threatened online. But, being threatened online is not a good reason to bring weapon into school in my opinion. And I don't think it was very appropriate at all to post pictures of it online. That is probably what got her caught with the weapon.
I personally would be scared if some random female is walking around my school with a big knife would try to go find an adult if I was one of the first people to see the post of her carrying it around. The first thing I would wonder is why she needs to carry a knife around school, and what she is getting out of doing it. Also what was her reasoning for posting it on social media because more than anything it just backfired on her for trying to look cool and it just got her caught.
I definietely agree with you on this because I would also be scared and I would tell an adult right away if I found out she had a weapon. And I also agree with you that the pictures got her caught and that she was probably trying to look cool, but the posts backfired and got her into a lot of trouble in the end.
If I were at that school that day i would have just stayed out of it. Im not sure why she would have brought a knife to school, but I do think that it could have just been a coincidence that she happend to have it on election day. Who know what she planned to do with it or if she even planned to have it but I do think it was kind of wierd that she posted about it.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the first little bit here. I wouldn't stay out of it, I would go tell an adult just for my own safety and well-being. And of course there are many reasons why she brought a knife to school, and it totally could have been a coincidence that she brought it to scool on election day. It was definitely very weird that she posted about it because that was most likely the reason she was caught with the weapon.
If this same sort of thing happened here, I would probably just think that she left the knife in her pocket by accident. Some people have to do cattle chores and stuff before school, and she could have just left it in her pocket. The part where the knife was brought on election day could have just happened randomly.
I definitely agree with this because, yes, she could have forgotten to take it out after she did farm chores if she lived on a farm. And she totally could have forgotten that she had a knife in her pocket. And when the knife was brought to school on election day, I agree with you, it could have been just a total random thing.
if I i went to that school i would stay in my own space i dont want to get in problems that i shoudnt be in. because you never know they could possibly harm you and stuff for getting involved with it. and she pry took it to school if someone tried to hate on her for siding with the president that won or something like that i have no idea im just saying
