While stuck in traffic an Aunt's concern for her nephew rises when they come to a stand still and the baby's crying stops. The Aunt knew that he had a cold so when his crying stopped she pulled off to the side of the road and checked on him. When she went to touch him he didn't respond like normal and when she took him out of the car seat his body was limp and he wasn't breathing. Unable to call 911 she started yelling for help luckily a lady in a car heard her yelling and administered cpr until rescue got there. Because of this woman the baby is now in stable condition.

Do you think the mother of the child blames the aunt? What would you do if put in this situation?

I don't think the parents should blame the aunt if they do. Babies get sick and aren't able to fight off colds as easily as adults. Its a good thing someone was around to help. Especially since they were on side of a road.
I do not think she should blame that aunt it wasn't on purpose. I would try CPR and get help from people that knew what they were doing.
Well hopefully the aunt had taken him to the hospital to make sure it wasn't fatal and there is a chance he could have been having an allergic reaction to the medication because I know that happens all the time! I'm just glad he's okay.
I don't think that the aunt should be blamed because she wasn't the reason the baby stopped breathing. I'm glad that someone was able to administer CPR to the baby because otherwise the result most likely wouldn't be good. If I were in this situation I probably would have done the same thing.
I'm happy this baby was saved. It's a good thing that somebody was there to help the baby breathe while they were waiting for help.
The aunt did the right thing. There is no reason she should be blamed for this. She did the right thing and did what she could to find help. Luckily that lady was there and she knew cpr. It is a good thing that the baby is ok.
If I was the mom, I wouldn't let her take care of my child anymore. I would not trust her to take care of my child.
But it was out of the Aunts control it's not like she made the baby stop breathing....Why should she be blamed for something that was out of her control?
I don't think the aunt should be to blame because she couldn't stop the baby from not being sick and can't control the weather. The good thing is she got help before it was too late. I would probably freak out and see if anyone could help.
