In Islamabad, Pakistan, a 9 month old boy was fingerprinted and booked on an attempted murder charge. The police came to the child's home to collect an unpaid gas bill from the parents. Several police officers came to try to get the bill, and the family started throwing bricks at them. As this went on, the boy's father and teenage brothers injured some police officers with the bricks. It is unclear how the little boy is involved. He appeared in court on April 2nd and was booked as his grandfather held him. After word of this case had spread, the police suspended a Pakistani official for registering the case against the child. I personally think this is absolutely ridiculous because the child didn't do anything wrong.
Why do you think the police officer booked the 9 month old?
What would you think if you were the judge on the case?
Read the story and watch a video here.

Great job!!
This is very weird. Why would they charge a baby, especially since he had no involvement? It is a good thing that the official was suspended for doing this. Hopefully they figure the situation out.
I have no clue why a 9 month old kid would get taken by the police, but with that said, I don't understand a lot about some of those foreign countries. If I were the judge, I wouldn't even want to hear the case. It's ridiculous, and I, as the judge, would have many other things to do than to hear a case with a new born child.
I feel like the baby had nothing to do with this murder. I actually feel pretty bad for the kid because he now has no family now that they are all going to jail for a long time. If i was the judge I wouldn't know what I would do.
I think that this is a little ridiculous to be honest. The idea of a 9 month old trying to kill an adult is unrealistic and pretty impossible. I think that if I were the judge in the case I would be pretty annoyed that people are wasting their time trying to convict babies for murder, instead of spending time trying to get real criminals off the streets.
I dont even knwo how the kid would of done that is 9 months old i would stake it away and reject caz
Maybe the police officer had nobody else to blame? But that is no reason to blame a baby for it. The baby could not even pick up a brick.
This is really messed that a cop would try to arrest a baby. If I was the judge I would look at the cop like hes stupid and then drug test he cop or give him something to prove himself again.
Ya I think the kid should be put under the state of pakistans care because their family is now to disfunctoinal to survive but if he acutually gets charged then... sweet jesus.
I think this story is crazy. If I was a judge I really don't know what I would think. I don't really think it makes very much sense but now a days.. almost anything is possible.
