  • I think that the fire kills all of the trees which causes a big effect on the oxygen level in the atmosphere. Also with all the smoke in the air, it will start to travel farther out and effect more people causing them to get sick after breathing it in. I think that Australia needs to all help from surrounding countries and ask them to come help fight the fires so their country does not get destroyed.

  • This will kill homes for animals and destroy houses for humans. I think that other countries should try to provide aid, especially richer countries that can spare firemen. They should also make sure to cut down dry plants near the fire, as to contain it where it is so it doesn't cause more damage.

  • The fires burn a lot of plant life that stores as well as takes in a lot of carbon, once this carbon is let go, through burning, it all gets into the environment which causes more global warming. I think that the best solution is prevention. If less fires are started then there is a much smaller chance that there are fires that get out of hand.

  • The smoke that is emitted into the atmosphere from these fires is very damaging to the climate. Not to mention, anybody nearby these fires could inhale the smoke and that causes problems for their lungs. If there aren't enough firetrucks, other places could send them more trucks to help them out. They should also evacuate the area.

  • Although wildfires usually are out of control and stuff, they can actually help clear the dead bushes and other dead things out. This would help the rest of the plants and animals thrive. I think they could get those planes that we have because they seem to help stop and control the fires really well.

  • This is really sad to hear and I feel terrible for the families affected. It's unfortunate that they simply do not have enough people to get to everyone's house to help and I wonder if there should have been more precautions taken to prevent this or if this was just unpreventable.

  • These fires kill a lot of the plant life and even animals. The smoke is also bad for the air. I'm not exactly sure what would help, but we could use drones for the fires. It's possible they could carry the same stuff the firefighting planes do. They could be automated.

  • Well it just destroys crops/plants for maybe some years. The fire is just destroying the habitats, which the animals are from will have to migrate. Maybe train more firefighters in that area or surrounding countries could help if they have the resources to help.

  • I think that although it is a tragedy, the fire may actually help the enviorment. This is because the fire would have cleared away the dead brush and this would allow it to grow back. Possibly more healthier. As for help, I believe that it should come from inside their own country.

  • It could kill many animals the naturaly live there and destroy the plant and shelter that they need to survive. Have either other states help or trying finding a way to lessen the amount of fires somehow and prevent them from happening
