President Richard Nixon and his accomplishments include:

In 1973 he got Paris to sign peace accords - Was intended to bring to peace to Vietnam and end the war and also to end direct United States military involvement and stop the fighting of south Vietnam temporarily. This brought peace to Vietnam on January 27, 1973 not being ratified by the united states.

The National Environmental Policy Act - This was a national U.S. policy promoting health in the environment. They had also wanted to establish the President's Council on Environmental Quality which is a presidential office that records environmental records.

the Clean Air Act of 1970 - was a United States law that had been put into place to prevent air pollution to the best the country could. It required that the environmental Protection Agency enforce these regulations so the public could be protected from hazardous wastes and materials. This program was established in 1963 and then expanded in 1967. But the major amendments that made the law work were established on 1970,1977 and 1990. The 1970 amendments expanded the federal mandate requiring major state and federal regulation. Mandate means forcible duty. 1990 had to do with Addressing acid rain, ozone disappearance and toxicity in the air.

the Federal Water Pollution Control Act amendments of 1972 was signed - Was a law to ensure the fact that water was clean enough for human consumption in the united states.

He established the Consumer Product Safety Commission in 1972 - This is an independent agency of the united states government. Reports all unsafe products to the united states government.

Nixon approved the development of NASA's Space Shuttle program - Nixon formed the Space Task Group now known as NASA to developed the space shuttle to get ahead in the space race.

Nixon approved a five-year cooperative program between NASA and the Soviet space program, this allowed the soviet union to work together with the united space to increase productivity of getting to space.
