many schools have art classes but not enough people in them to have school funding. i think that us art students shouldnt have to deal with low quality art because we dont have many kids. art is something kids do to get rid of stress and not having the decent art suplies makes it hard on the kids to do what they want to express. i think that schools should reconize art as a need for kids and support itby funding it for the right suplies.

I'm glad you got this posterd but it is quite brief and you didn't reply to any students comments. It is also two days late.
I agree that art is a very important aspect of school and needs to be taught the right way. Art is a great way for students to express themselves and their ideas. I believe if art had more benefits and more supplies much more people would go out for art and possibly make a career out of it.
I agree. Just because some classes are not as popular as others does not mean that it should be given less money to support it. There are lots of kids who do like art classes and who use art to express themselves. I think if there was more supplies then some more people would consider signing up for art.
I agree with you. Our school, and other schools as well, should properly fund different classes. It shouldn't just be art classes, but other elective classes as well. Art can be beneficial to many students, and so can other classes. It all depends on what you yourself feel passionate about. The school should prioritize funding one sole aspect of the high school, but try to fund every area at a level that will help all students.
I agree, I think art is a way for some students to express themselves in a way they can't explain. I believe schools sometimes over look art and just see it as an easy random class. It seems to be much more then just a class though.
It is an elective class and you should have to buy your own supplies like we do in shop classes. We have to supply our own lumber or pay for the metal we use. It would be nice if the school could supply some things like the big things to use but then any parts you take home you should be responsible for.
I agree that schools should fund their programs more however I do not think that art is at the top of the needs for funding. I also do not see art as a need for kids because it is more of a hobbie that a class becuase you dont really learn anything in art and it is done more for fun.
I agree, schools should look into spending more money on art class it is a nice calming class to take. But if students arnt in the class then there is really no reason to spend money on it if no one is in it. But I get that they should also spend money on it because maybe more kids will join it.
I agree, schools can and should spend a little more of their resources on art supplies so that students who are passionate about art have the supplies they deserve. Art is a great way to calm down and de-stress, and that means requiring the right supplies.
I agree with the fact that I have taken art classes, and I am taking another one. And a lot of our supplies are not new by any mean, and sometimes you don't have somethings that you need for your piece.
