In the state of Colorado, over a dozen school district close their doors because of illness and highly contagious illness. The many ways the illness was spread was through direct contact and consuming contaminated food and water. Authorities say that it is a norovirus or more commonly known as a stomach bug. Schools say they will be closed until after Thanksgiving break. Over 22,000 students will not have education and around 3,000 employees will not have a job until after Thanksgiving.

Personally, I would like it but we would most likely go into the summer longer because the school closed down.

Yes, because their could have been a chance to spread the illness to more people and continue the spread

To be honest, if the school closed down due to a illness; we will all be happy to go home, but people that has the illness has to go through the process of kicking it out of their system. They should have temporary closed them so the spread of the sickness doesn't spread to other people.
I agree with you that I would also like it, but we would most likely go into the summer longer. If they closed the school they should of stopped extra-curricular classes because the disease/illness could still be spread, and could potentially spread to coaches and parents.
I agree that we would probably have to go into summer longer, and for that reason, I would not like to have a long break. Yes, if they are going to stop normal classes they are going to have to stop other activities such as sports.
I would not like it becasue that would mean I have a high risk of being sick, which regardless of missing school, would not be fun. I do think that they should have, if they are going to cancel school, then they would cancel everything, not just normal classes.
